Joining us in the loft is Afrosoul singer, Max-hoba. He is an independent artist that comes from Welkom, Free State. His sophomore album is what got a major buzz around him, due to its success, thus earning him the nickname the ‘Travelingman’, which was the name of the album.
Max-hoba’s mother tongue is Xhosa, but he is multilingual and is also able to sing his songs in English, Zulu and Sesotho. He is also a talented and experienced script translator and voice over artist. His two albums ‘Making History’ and Travelingman’, were both released under his own label Maxhoba Entertainment. With the release of these albums, Max-hoba has been able to tour around the world, going to beautiful cities such as, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Copenhagen, Berlin, Barcelona and Paris, amongst many others.
He is former SAMA nominee, for best African Adult Album, he was also nominated at the Wawela 2015 awards for Songwriter Of The Year. In 2015 he also received the a Standard Bank Ovation Award at the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown, for performance excellence.
